This is an early Rose Company Distillery Jug, the first licensed
distillery in Georgia after the civil war.
Probably made by Bird or Brown for Rose Co. in Atlanta. |
Repaired handle and lip, otherwise a very nice
piece with glass drips. |

Very large unusual art pottery face
Probably 2nd half of 20th century.
May have been candle holder project? |
Bottom has been broken in several places causing piece to
tilt at a 30 degree list backwards.
Great conversation piece! |

Crazing to glaze, minor fleabites.
Unusually piece of North State due to being a utilitarian piece (they
were more known for producing art pottery than utilitarian ware) and an
